Description

The National Institutes of Health (NIH), Office of Research Facilities (ORF), Division of Facilities Operations and Maintenance (DFOM), intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract for Medical Gas and Vacuum Systems Inspection, Testing, Maintenance, Repair, and Related Services supporting the NIH Clinical Center (Building 10) in Bethesda, Maryland. — The Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, equipment, materials, and technical expertise necessary to perform inspection, testing, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, repair, replacement, certification, emergency response, planned shutdown support, documentation, and reporting for Medical Gas and Vacuum (MGV) Systems, Laboratory Air and Vacuum Systems, Instrument Air Systems, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), outlet, valve, and alarm testing, and related support systems. Services shall be performed in accordance with applicable industry standards, including NFPA 99 and ASSE Series 6000, and in support of uninterrupted patient care and research operations at the NIH Clinical Center. — The contract will include a one-year base period, four one-year option periods, and a six-month option period. Award will be made using a Best Value Tradeoff process in accordance with FAR Part 15. This acquisition is being conducted as a Total Small Business Set-Aside.
