The Area Office’s service units include — seven hospitals, eight health centers, and several smaller health stations and satellite clinics. — Sisseton IHS is one of these service units located at Sisseton, South Dakota. — 2.0 OBJECTIVE — The mission of the Indian Health Service (IHS) is to raise the physical, mental, social, and — spiritual health of American Indians and Alaska Natives to the highest level.
