Description

This requirement is 100% Small Business Set-Aside — This requirement will be awarded using Sealed Bidding. The Contractor shall furnish all services, facilities, labor, parts, materials, equipment, tools and data (other than Government Furnished Property), necessary to accomplish the inspection and overhaul of the following assets: — NOMENCLATURE: CH-47 Accumulator, Hydraulic — INPUT/OUTPUT NSN: 1650-01-246-9554 — INPUT/OUTPUT P/N: 28 60003-5 — ESTIMATED QUANTITY RANGE: Minimum 10 each – Maximum 58 each. Maximum of 58 each includes a quantity of 8 each Foreign Military Sales (FMS). — This requirement is to fulfill the government’s need for the overhaul of the CH-47 Accumulator, Hydraulic, NSN 1650-01-246-9554. The proposed contractual action is a three-year, Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) overhaul contract. The Accumulator, Hydraulic is not a Critical Safety Item (CSI). The overhaul shall be accomplished in accordance with Government specifications. The overhaul requires the complete restoration of unserviceable assets to a like-new, fully serviceable, and air-worthy condition in accordance with the specifications in the Depot Maintenance Work Requirement (DMWR) 1-1650-412&P, dated 04/17/2020. This effort is essential for the ongoing sustainment and operational readiness of the CH-47 fleet. — The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 336413 and the size standard is 1,250 employees. — An Invitation for Bid (IFB) will be issued at a later date for this requirement. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement and any follow-up information requested. No basis for claim against the Government shall arise as a result of a response to this announcement or Government use of any information provided. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date dependent upon the date of the release of the solicitation; however, the solicitation will not open prior to the closing date stated on the synopsis.
